Meet Our Newest Provider!

We’re beyond excited to introduce Jamie Barr, FNP-C, a compassionate and highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner, to The Howard Center team!

With over 14 years of clinical nursing experience, Jamie brings a well-rounded background in pediatric, adult, and geriatric care.As a float provider, Jamie will be caring for patients across our locations—but her home base eventually be in Warner Robins, where she’ll join forces with Chasity Fraley, FNP-BC, to continue growing and supporting that thriving office!

Jamie specializes in well-woman exams, IV therapy, chronic care management, hormone therapy, and more—and she’s known for her attention to detail, gentle approach, and patient-first mindset.

We are so happy to have you! Please join us in giving Jamie a warm welcome!

Congratulations Corner

Taylor Turner just found out that they are having another girl! Taylor’s daughter, Riley, is super excited to be a big sister and she’s even more excited that she got what she wanted, which is a little sister! Taylor said that they are blessed beyond measure and can’t wait for their little Turkey to arrive! Her current due date is 11/29/2025! Congratulations, to you and your beautiful family, Taylor! We can’t wait for this sweet girl to get here!


Shout out to Morgan Patterson’s daughter A’mela  for graduating PreK , and moving on to Kindergarten! Congratulations, sweet girl! We’re so proud of you and this amazing milestone acomplishment!


Chasitie Roberts and her husband, Daniel, are “ChaCha” and “DanDan” again! Introducing, Hayden Boyd! This precious little boy was born on June 21 @ 3:21am! Congratulations, guys!


Belinda Hill’s baby, Summer Re’nee, got her drivers license in June and we couldn’t be happier for her! We know that you’re so proud, Belinda! We are as well! Congratulations on this incredible life milestone, Summer!


Jessica Strickland’s son, James, attended the Congress of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists in Boston! He spent time learning from some of the brightest minds in medicine and took a huge step towards his future in healthcare!

This is amazing and we’re so proud of you, James! Congratulations!

We’re beyond excited to host our 1st Annual Back to School Supply Giveaway here at The Howard Center in Tifton!

Date: Thursday, July 17th

Time: 5pm – 6pm

We will be giving out bags filled with school supplies and refillable water bottles to the first 200 families in attendance!

Please help us spread the word! We want to reach as many families that we can in Tift and surrounding counties!

Jessica is a shining example of dedication, excellence, and team spirit that goes above and beyond. Whether it’s jumping in to help a teammate, lifting others up with a kind word, or bringing positive energy into every room, Jessica makes a real difference. Her kindness, reliability, and can-do attitude have made a lasting impact on our entire team.
TWC: Danielle WilliamsDanielle has been such an asset to the TWC team as an ultrasound tech. She goes above and beyond to make real connections with her patients. Especially our OB patients. She even helps out our nurses when needed. She helped keep track of a patient on NST last week that was not her job to do. She even made sure to check the strip and “buzz” her baby to help out. We appreciate all that you do for our office and patients!
Ultrasound: Anna MettendorfAnna has truly gone above and beyond this month. Not only has she continued to provide exceptional care in her role as an ultrasound tech, but she has also stepped up as a second MA and covered the front desk all while delivering outstanding service to our patients. Her flexibility, dedication, and knowledge of every aspect of the office make her an invaluable team member. Jenae continues to lead with excellence, consistently achieving the highest completion rate—positively impacting the lives of 40 women by helping connect them with a Provider here at the Howard Center. Her adaptability and positive spirit shine through with every change we implement; not only does she embrace change, but she also plays a key role in putting it into action.

She ensures her patients are informed and supported every step of the way. Even while I was away in the South, Jenae went above and beyond—detailing two company vehicles that weren’t assigned to her, simply to make sure they were ready for the next teammate.

Always solution-oriented and proactive, Jenae brings fresh ideas and a can-do attitude to every challenge. Her dedication to her patients, her team, and the mission of our organization is truly inspiring.

Great job, Jenae! Your leadership, initiative, and positivity make a lasting difference. Congratulations!!

Provider: Rose Smith, W.H.N.P.Congratulations to Rose Smith NP , for winning the Provider Excellence Award for June .
To know her is to love her !
From one of her patients ~ She is a good mix of no non-sense and let me tell you everything you need to know . She will go above and beyond to try help her patients.
She’s known to call around to find lower rates for medication or to get an authorization for a medication denied. Her goal is to do all she can do!

Manager: Emily TorresThis month, we’re proud to recognize Emily Torres as our Manager of the Month! While Emily may not hold the official title of “manager,” she has truly stepped into a leadership role as our Lead Supervisor in the Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) program.

Emily has been instrumental in launching and shaping our virtual MMA program. She’s taken full ownership—training new team members, streamlining processes, and continuously bringing fresh ideas to improve the program. Her dedication, initiative, and leadership have made a significant impact, and we’re incredibly grateful for the outstanding work she’s doing in her new role and with her team.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Diana Alston as our Shining Star for the month of June! Diana has played a vital role in getting our new surgeon, Dr. Verdialis, fully set up and integrated with our Surgery Center. From coordinating the details of her onboarding to ensuring every instrument was in place for our new surgical cases, Diana made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
