New Class Offered at Howard Center

Remember our OB providers and midwives are teaching a class twice a month on every other Thursday for pregnant women in their 3rd trimester! The next class is November 10th!

Excellence Awards

Marketing: Kristi BattenYou and your work have always been beyond expectations and have contributed significantly to our Leesburg office. You constantly take on things and do them at 100% with no questions asked. You joining our team is an asset. Kristi is always making sure the Leesburg office is taken care of during working hours and off working hours. She goes above and beyond each day. She thrives on making UOG the BEST. Kristi thank you for motivating not only our Marketing team but the whole UOG family.

Ultrasound: Kelly SmithMargaret Anne, our NP at our Albany office, remarks there is no way she could do her job without Kelly. “Kelly goes above and beyond daily, however, this month, Kelly has worked every position from the front desk, diet, nurse, to her position as an ultrasound tech and never complains. She cleans rooms and does anything and everything she can to help our office move smoothly and effectively. She is like having five people all in one person. Kelly is my eyes. I wouldn’t be half the NP I am without her.” Kelly, we thank you for all your hard work!

WCAS: Melissa DunnMelissa Dunn is the employee of the month for WCAS. She has been a team player and never complains about anything. She goes above and beyond for her physician and patients, and they love her so much. Anything that is asked of her she does, and she always takes initiative to do what’s needs to be done. She is always going above and beyond to assist the surgery center to make things run smoothly. We are blessed to have her as a part of our team!!

Nursing: Savannah OwensSavannah is an amazing nurse. She has the amazing role and responsibility of training new nurses and she does it with a smile on her face. Savannah deserves all the recognition for being an exceptional nurse and someone that her co-workers can look up to as a true compassionate nurse with a love for her patients! We are so lucky to have Savannah as a part of our team!

Provider: Mandy TomberlinCongratulations to Mandy Tomberlin for winning the Provider Excellence Award! Mandy is a very valuable Nurse Practitioner to our Tifton location. She sees patients of all ages. Not only does she see patients for their yearly exams, she is also very knowledgeable in hormone therapy and OB. Her reviews prove she is very efficient and how much she is appreciated. We are so blessed to have her at our Tifton office!

TWC: Chasidy BrantleyChasidy is always brightening up our day at the office. She makes patients feel warm and welcome along with getting the other employees ready for the day. We have so many compliments of how sweet and funny she is when working up patients. We are so glad to have her on our team!

OB Nursing: Laura WeeksLaura is new to OB, but she has caught on so quickly. She is so hard working and is dedicated her job. She is always willing to learn new things and jump in anywhere she is needed. She always has a positive attitude! Thank you Laura for your hard work!

Insurance: Chelsea ThomasChelsea has definitely been a hard worker the past few months. She has been a great team player when it comes to helping other with tasks. We are thankful to heave her on our team!

Front Desk: Sabrina HowardSabrina has been very dependable and reliable this month! She continues to have the best attitude in everything she does an is always willing to help her coworkers and patients. We have put new motions in place and she jumped right on board! Thank you so much Sabrina!

Howard Diet: Idali AyalaThe October excellence award will go to Idali Ayala! Idali has been with us for almost 3 months and has been a huge blessing to this team! Idali helps wherever she is asked and never complains; from FMLA paperwork to translation assistance, she is always willing to help! We are grateful for Idali and all she does!

$250 and Trophy!

This past month Jessica has gone ABOVE and BEYOND helping with all of our events. She pulled together our entire Breast Cancer event and our Halloween event, and did an outstanding job on both of them. Both of those events would not have happened if it wasn’t for her. Plus she continued to do her daily task of running our practices, she is a super woman and an outstanding team member! She more than deserves the Shining Star this month.

Howard Center’s Food Drive

During each week, you will have the opportunity to donate. For every $10 you donate, you will be entered into the weekly drawing for a chance to win $100. On the following Monday, we will announce the winner for the previous week!

During the first 3 weeks, 20 Howard Center Employees have donated a total of $485. This week is the last week!!! Venmo @howardcenter or give cash to Sarah Hayes or Melisa Newell before Friday November 4th if you would like to participate. Every $5 will be an entry into the drawing for a $100 bill! On Monday Nov 7th, we will donate the food items to the local food pantry to help those in our community when they are in need. The Tifton Food Pantry is incredibly grateful for everything donated by our employees during the month of October, as the donations last them for most of the year.
