UOG in the Community!

For our food drive this year, our Howard Center staff donated over $500 toward food for local families, and six boxes of Paradox Farms pecans were gifted to us to give to The Salvation Army to support families across Tift County.

Nursing Department: Kaitlyn NormanI am absolutely thrilled to announce this month’s Employee of the Month for our team of Medical Assistants: Kaitlyn Norman!

Kaitlyn’s dedication and exceptional performance have truly set her apart. She has consistently gone above and beyond her responsibilities, most notably by single-handedly managing and holding down the entire Albany location over these past few months. This incredible feat of commitment demonstrates a work ethic that is truly inspiring.

Ultrasound Department: Stephanie StoneThis past month, Stephanie has gone above and beyond in every way. She has stayed late numerous nights to ensure all patients were fully taken care of before heading home, showing true dedication to both her role and our patients. She has also stepped in to help the MA notify patients of their normal labs, demonstrating teamwork and initiative without being asked.

In addition, Stephanie has traveled to Tifton several times this month to provide coverage and support, ensuring operations there continued smoothly. Her reliability and willingness to help wherever needed have made a significant impact on our team.

We appreciate everything Stephanie does and are grateful for her commitment to The Howard Center

Provider: Rachelle Milhollin, FNPCongratulations to Rachelle Milhollin, FNP, for winning the Provider Excellence Award for November. Rachelle has floated to the Douglas clinic this past month so we could keep the office flow going and to make sure the patients were cared for while Rose has been out. Rachelle has also floated between Valdosta and Tifton on Fridays. She has done an excellent job and had several patient compliments. Thank you Rachelle for being a Team Player and being willing to work where you are needed. Thank you for putting our patients first! This highlights the kind of care and commitment we strive to provide for our patients. Thank you so much for your dedication!
TWC: Jessica VoorheesJessica Voorhees. Jessica is a hard worker and does not stop until the worn is done. She works upstairs alone with her provider and does an amazing job at multitasking. She handles any bloodwork, testing, putting pts on NST, drawing blood, assisting with procedures, and transporting patients to the hospital. She never complains, never asks for help, and does it all without looking like she has been running around all day long. And gets so many shout puts from patients saying how personable and kind she was during their visit. Maria and I appreciate everything you do for her and for your patients.
Marketing: Evelin LopezEvelin consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does. She’s always willing to take on more than her share and never hesitates to step in wherever she’s needed. Her advocacy for our patients is exceptional, and she approaches every task with a positive, “can-do” attitude. She is incredibly self-motivated, reliable, and committed to the success of our team. Evelin has also been performing exceptionally well in her marketing efforts and continues to make a strong impact across the company. Her work ethic, attitude, and dedication truly set her apart.
WCAS: Jade TomlinsonThis month, we are proud to recognize Jade Tomlinson for her incredible dedication and leadership. Jade truly stepped up in the middle of a crisis while I was out of the country. She worked tirelessly to get everything organized, kept everyone calm, and ensured that every patients scheduled for surgery were taken care of without interruption.

Her composure under pressure and commitment to our team and our patients did not go unnoticed. Jade, thank you for going above and beyond — you are a tremendous asset to our center, and we’re so grateful for you.

Front Desk: Raven SilverThis month, Raven has gone above and beyond—staying late, training new employees, and even traveling to outside offices to support our team. She’s met every challenge with positivity and grace, never once complaining, and always rising to the occasion.

Raven, thank you for your dedication and the energy you bring every day. You’ve truly earned this honor as our Employee of the Month for November!

Manager: Melisa NewellI’m proud to recognize Melisa Newell as our Manager of the Month for November. Melisa consistently goes above and beyond, but this month she has truly outdone herself. She has been steadily planning our Christmas party, dedicating countless hours and effort on top of her regular responsibilities. Many may not realize just how much work goes into making this event happen, but Melisa ensures every detail is handled so the celebration is outstanding and special for all of us. In addition, Melisa organized and led a food drive throughout November—another initiative that went far beyond her normal duties. Her dedication, creativity, and commitment to our team make her more than deserving of this recognition. Congratulations, Melisa!
