Congratulations Corner

Cindy Sparrow’a newest granddaughter, Miss Blaire Eloise Chambliss, was born January 10 @ 11:36 pm, weighing 7lbs 2 ozs, 20.5 inches long!!

Congratulations, Cindy! She’s beautiful! We know that you are so so proud! Welcome to the world, Blaire!

Courtney Taibi is now Mrs. Courtney Sumner! Courtney got married to the love of her life, Clint, on Saturday, February 1st! Congratulations to you both! We wish you guys a lifetime of love and marital bliss!

Taishi’s daughter, Marley, won 2nd place in the district for the Valdosta- Lowndes County Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Association Poem and Poster Contest!

January Employee Excellence Awards and our Shining Star!

Provider: Mandy Tomberlin, FNP-CCongratulations to Mandy Tomberlin NP for winning the Provider Excellence Award for January. Mandy goes above and beyond to take care of her patients . Reading her reviews it’s Mandy mentioned over and over! She takes the time to call abnormal results and cares for their outcomes . She’s a team member and we value her work. Thank you Mandy
Manager: Callie TuckerOur Manager Employee of the Month is Callie! While everyone else was enjoying their snow days off, Callie went above and beyond by staying home and texting all the patients for all the clinics to inform them of our closures for the next day. She took on this responsibility without asking for help, ensuring everything was handled smoothly. Her dedication was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. Callie definitely deserves this recognition for her outstanding efforts. Thank you, Callie!
TWC: Dina Herren, FNP-CTWC’s EOM for January is Dina Herren. Dina is a joy to work with and all of her patients love her. She goes above and beyond for her patients, even gives out her cell phone number for them to call her after hours or on the weekends. Dina is always happy to help promote our office also. She has done numerous social media videos to educate the public on what we can offer. We wouldn’t know what to do without her!
Mammogram: Amyie MathisThe Mammo EOM is Amyie Mathis! Amyie is an awesome teacher! As a group we all have learned so much through Amyie teaching us. Amyie always takes excellent care of our patients and is always helping where she can even before being asked to. She is proactive in completing task well in advance allowing our patients to have a shorter wait time. She always puts the patients first.
Surgery Coordinator: Idali AyalaI am thrilled to recognize Idali as the Employee of the Month for January. Idali has consistently gone above and beyond, demonstrating outstanding dedication and commitment. During the snowstorm, when the office was closed, Idali ensured that all charts were completed and turned in on time, despite the nurse practitioners being unable to make it in. Her exceptional efforts have not gone unnoticed, receiving praise from nurse practitioners in outside offices and from Main. Over the past year, Idali has shown tremendous growth in her role and has been instrumental in streamlining our WCAS and Hospital schedules. Idali is truly an asset to our Howard Center family, and we are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and dedication. Thank you, Idali, for your hard work and unwavering commitment!
Front Desk: Tomeisha BrownTomeisha has truly gone above and beyond the month of January. She our Decatur front desk. We have had many schedule changes this month in our offices and she has jumped in and worked to make sure all patients were rescheduled accordingly. She has been very flexible while continuing to keep a positive attitude at the office. She is a team player and has help reach out of other offices patients that were needing to be rescheduled. Thank you for all you do.
Insurance: Kelly MyersKelly Myers is Insurance’s Employee of the month. Kelly has been doing a great job with BCBS open claims as well as helping with Medicaid! Great job this month, Kelly!
Howard Diet: Nicole WellsEOM of the month is Nicole Wells! Nicole is constantly on top of Diet and makes sure she has what she needs and never fails to help make sure she has her numbers put in daily! Thank you Nicole for always going above and beyond for the Howard Center and Howard Diet! I appreciate everything you do!

WCAS: Becky ToddWe are proud to recognize Becky Todd as this month’s Employee of the Month at the Women’s Center for Advanced Surgeries! Becky has gone above and beyond, stepping up when we needed her most. This morning, she graciously covered for an injured team member, ensuring that patient care remained uninterrupted. Recently, when a nurse unexpectedly left in the middle of a shift, Becky took charge, helping everything run smoothly and supporting the remaining nurse to make it through the day. Her dedication, teamwork, and commitment to patient care are truly commendable. Becky, we appreciate your hard work and determination—you make a difference every day! Thank you, Becky!
