Thank you all for your unwavering commitment, exceptional care, and the compassion you bring to every patient and community you serve. We are truly grateful for each of you and everything you do! Your commitment to empowering women and changing their lives does not go unnoticed!

A Little Bit of Motivation

In health care, we meet countless patients, and it’s easy to feel like just another face in their day. But remember this: while patients may not always remember your name, they will never forget the way you made them feel. Whether it’s a comforting word, a gentle touch, or taking a moment to listen, your kindness and compassion leave a lasting impact.

Your actions speak louder than words, and your genuine care makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Every smile, every act of kindness, and every effort to ease a patient’s fear or discomfort creates a ripple effect that can carry them through challenging times.

So, as you go about your day, keep in mind that your dedication and compassion are noticed and appreciated—not just by our team but, most importantly, by our patients. Continue to leave a legacy of kindness and care, knowing that you are making a difference that lasts far beyond the moment.

April Employee Excellence Award Winners and Our Shining Star!

Ultrasound: Katelyn HartyThis month, Katelyn went above and beyond in her role as an ultrasound tech by having keen clinical judgement in suspecting ovarian torsion that led to a timely and successful surgery. Also, on a day this month when no medical assistant was available in Covington, she acted as a medical assistant and also performed ultrasounds and Konings all while maintaining a high level of patient care. Additionally, Katelyn conducted a scan interview for me that resulted in a new hire for Athens who she has dedicated her time in training. Katelyn consistently demonstrates her commitment and excellence in her work. Her hard work, multitasking and clinical expertise truly makes a difference in patients’ lives. You are so deserving of the Ultrasound Employee of the Month. Congratulations!
TWC: Debbie HillMrs Debbie does our referrals for TWC and has done a great job at keeping up with all of our patients. She also goes above and beyond to help with things for TWC. Our Walmart order was delivered to the hospital by mistake and Mrs. Debbie volunteered to go pick it up for us and unload it all. Thank you for all that you do for TWC!
Provider: Dawn Printup, FNP-BCCongratulations to Dawn Printup, FNP-BC, for winning the Provider Excellence Award for March.
She’s often been recognized in the reviews and exceeds all our expectations.
The patients who’ve seen her in our Northern offices have complimented her on the care she’s given. Sometimes it’s a daily challenge to go to a different office weekly. But she’s managed to build relationships with her patients and colleagues.
Thank you so much for your dedication!
Front Desk: Cristella CastilloCristella has gone above and beyond this month. She hasn’t missed a single day, even with flu season in full swing, and she’s stepped in multiple times to cover offices at the last minute. She’s taken charge of keeping our schedules on track, stayed late when needed, and has been a real team player. On top of all that, she’s been helping and training new employees entirely on her own initiative. Her hard work and dedication to our patients and practice have made a huge difference. Thank you, Cristella, for everything you do!
Marketing: Annette MundyAnnette has been selected as Employee of the Month for the Marketing team due to her achievements and dedication. As a newcomer, she has demonstrated outstanding performance, starting with 0 completions and quickly reaching an impressive total of 11 for the month of March. Annette has successfully handled all Tebra tasks and responsibilities, while consistently following up with new patients through emails and by sending out new patient packets. Additionally, she has expanded our reach by securing partnerships with two new schools, following her getting done with a Health Fair.

Annette’s hard work and initiative earned her a shout out from Dawn, the Decatur NP, who praised her for always stepping in and helping wherever needed. Her proactive attitude makes her an asset member of the marketing team, always ready to embrace change and deliver amazing results. Congratulations, Annette!

Nursing : Kelee SmithThis month’s MA employee of the month is Kelee Smith! She has gone above & beyond, and accomplished so much this month! She has been assisting Dr. Menya with procedures making sure that he has everything he needs to be able to provide the best care possible! She has helped her co workers by motivating them and educating them, so that we can provide the best care to our patients. She has also been staying and helping with surgery charts to ensure that there are not any delays. Through early mornings and late nights, Kelee has pushed through and kept a smile on her face! Always eager to learn and extend a helping hand! She is a shining example of a EOM! Thank you so much Kelee for all you do!
Diet Center: Rachel FlemingRachel Fleming is the backbone of our team, effortlessly handling a range of responsibilities, from assisting GYN patients in ultrasounds to ensuring our Northern office FMLA-Short Term Disability Claims are taken care of. Rachel has a deep understanding of women’s healthcare, she offers compassionate care to patients, and she’s an amazing team player/ co-worker. Rachel had an FMLA to come to her that was a Southern office patient having surgery in Tifton.. instead of handing it off and sending it to me or ignoring it, Rachel took the time to help fill it out and make sure it was sent to the appropriate company all without complaining. Rachel’s ability to balance hands-on patient care as well as the paperwork that goes along with each FMLA and STD form makes her an irreplaceable asset, ensuring both our patients’ health and our Northern office run seamlessly. You deserve this Rachel, thank you for all you do here!!
Insurance: Catherine WilkersonWe are excited to announce Catherine as the Insurance Department’s Employee of the Month! Although she is a new member of the UOG team, Catherine has quickly proven herself to be an invaluable asset.
She comes in early each day, eager and ready to work, demonstrating a strong commitment to her role.
Catherine diligently stays on task and ensures that the coding entered is precise and accurate. She consistently seeks clarity when needed, never hesitating to ask questions to ensure her work meets the highest standards. Her attention to detail and drive for excellence are truly commendable.
We are excited to see the continued growth and achievements Mrs. Catherine will accomplish, and we look forward to her future successes with the team!
WCAS: Desiree CampbellThis month’s Employee of the Month is a little unconventional—but absolutely well-deserved. Please join me in celebrating Desiree Glencamp!

Desiree has only been with us for three weeks, but in that short time, she has made a huge impression on everyone she’s encountered. I’ve had multiple people from all over the company tell me how much of a delight she is to work with. Her positivity, willingness to jump in wherever needed, and the grace with which she handles challenges are just a few of the reasons she stands out.

In her short time here, Desiree has:
• Quickly learned her new role and exceeded expectations
• Handled patient issues with care, sound judgment, and grace
• Earned the love and appreciation of our patients
• Brought fresh marketing ideas to the table to help boost our Covington patient census
• Volunteered to stay late after being away from her family for a week—just to make sure the Tifton team had the help they needed
• Gone in on her days off to support other locations and even asked to be available any time we might need her

It’s rare for someone to receive Employee of the Month during their first month on the job—but Desiree is that rare kind of person. She leads with her heart, her work ethic is unmatched, and her commitment to the team is clear.

Desiree, thank you for jumping in with both feet and showing us what a true team player looks like. We’re lucky to have you.

Congratulations and Happy Employee of the Month!

Amber Tarrant
Nurse Manager
$250.00 & a Trophy!

For March, Amber has earned the well-deserved title of Shining Star! Despite being shorthanded, she has gone above and beyond, traveling to various clinics—most notably to Covington multiple times—to fill in and ensure operations ran smoothly. Amber has worked tirelessly to help integrate our new PathGroup labs, taking the lead in organizing and settling everything efficiently. Her dedication extends beyond lab organization; she’s also been proactive in finding solutions to fill gaps in medical assistance. Amber’s commitment, leadership, and exceptional work ethic have made a significant impact, and we’re incredibly proud to have her as an outstanding manager. We couldn’t have achieved this without her.
