Peer Shout Outs!

2024 Breast Cancer Warrior & Survivor Event!

What an amazing time we had at our 2024 Breast Cancer Warrior & Survivor Event!

From corn hole and Sno Cones to signing the pink fire truck, 360 video booth, a mechanical bull, bingo, and more—we had it all!

Our local firefighter heroes even painted nails and gave our Warriors and Survivors a one-of-a-kind manicure! And, for the first time in Howard Center Breast Cancer Event history, everyone who attended our event, got the chance to tour our beautiful Glammo Mammo suite and learn how to do a breast examination to check for lumps!

Another first for this event, was our Warrior and Survivor walk! Where we got to cheer on our incredible, brave and all around amazing women who are currently battling cancer and those who fought cancer and won!

To end the evening, we gave away a few beautiful Michael Kors pieces and one lucky survivor, by the name of Carla, walked away with a *tropical cruise!*

A HUGE thank you goes to Dr. Drew Howard, Dr. Kaylar Howard, our amazing CEO, Sherri (who created this event 7 years ago!) and our incredible staff and vendors for making this unforgettable day happen year after year!

UOG in the Community!

On Wednesday, October 23rd, three of our Howard Center fellas Walked A Mile In Her Shoes!

The guys did such an amazing job, strutting their stuff and giving us their best cat walk in a pair of heels showing their support for women and RCPCH!

We are incredibly proud and thankful for Eric, Trey and Tanner for supporting such a wonderful cause and representing The Howard Center in the most fashionable way!

2024 UOG Halloween!

Our 2024 UOG Halloween was truly fang-tastic! From Super Mario, to Inside Out, Boo-bies, Disney Princesses, Beetlejuice and much much more, you guys outdid yourselves once again this year!

3rd Place – Jessica “JJ” Cowart – Mary Poppins

Save the Date!

Every year we collect food items & other necessities in our offices to donate to the Salvation Army…this year we are doing something a little different!!

It’s called STUFF THE BOX! For the month of November, we are going to be collecting Canned Food and Non-Perishable items to donate to families in need for Thanksgiving! The difference? The food is going to go DIRECTLY to the families who need it!

So many people in our community are FOOD POOR. That means they do not have enough food to feed themselves and their families. They are not getting nutritional meals 3 times a day, 7 days a week.

Could you imagine with the holidays coming up NOT HAVING ANYTHING TO EAT??

This year our goal is to help as many people as we can by giving out boxes of food with a Thanksgiving Theme to it. Items to cook all of those yummy dishes that we all enjoy with our own families!

Here’s the Challenge & Every Office is Allowed to Participate!!

Bring as many CANNED food items that you can! Green Beans, Canned Chicken, Cream of Chicken, Corn, Baked Beans, Yams, Chicken Broth, Stuffing Mix, Cornbread Mix, Biscuit Mix, etc (think…what do I use for Thanksgiving?) **The items have to be Shelf Stable. Nothing that needs to be kept COLD. The items have to be IN DATE. Nothing EXPIRED.

For EVERY TEN (10) CANS that you bring, you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE MICHAEL KORS PURSE of your choice! *You get to come shopping from the stock we have.*

If you want to donate Money ($$$$) You can bring cash or write a check to Less of Me, More of You INC. For every TEN ($10) you give, you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE MICHAEL KORS PURSE! **All cash or check donations given to our Non-Profit are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

All monies will be used to buy more food items!

If you have ANY Questions – Please reach out to Melisa Newell 🙂 Donations can be dropped off to Melisa or Hannah Dorsey for Main. Stay tuned for drop off information for other offices!

Management: Amber TarrantOctober was a fantastic month where many of our managers and employees truly shone. They all volunteered for various events, such as the breast cancer awareness and Halloween activities. I am incredibly proud of everyone for their contributions. However, one manager stood out a bit more—Amber. She not only volunteered for the breast cancer events but also took the initiative to get her team involved in literacy trivia night, even on their own time. Her dedication and leadership were exceptional. I’m grateful for all the hard work and extra effort everyone put in, and especially thankful to Amber for going above and beyond.
