Meet your manager!
At the Howard Center, we are blessed to have so many managers that have a passion for making this an amazing place to work and patients to come. This month we are excited to spotlight one of our amazing managers, Shara Greer! Shara is a practice manager in our newly opened Covington office, but has been with the UOG family for almost a year.
Shara’s favorite part of her job is being able to interact with her patients and truly getting to know them. She loves the Covington office specifically because that is actually the community in which she and her children grew up, and she continues to work to make an impact by showing them the Howard Center ways! Shara has many goals set in place to help benefit the Covington office, one of them being to work with our marketing department to continue to reach potential patients amidst Covid. She hopes to have their 100th new patient by the end of summer!

What’s new?
- Congratulations to Nichole Jones for moving up in our company and becoming our new Nurse Manager! Ela has been absolutely outstanding for the past several years, but with little ones at home she has decided to pass the torch to Nichole! Nichole has some big shoes to fill but we know she is up for the challenge. Thank you Ela for your dedication and congrats to Nichole on this promotion!

Excellence Awards
Ultrasound: Angela McDanielAngela is amazing with all of her patients that she sees in the office. She has a great personality that makes her patients feel comfortable while having their procedure done. She goes out of her way to help the nurse work up patients, and cleans and organizes the office when she isn’t busy. Angela does an amazing job!
Front Desk: Megan BezoniaMegan has truly shown herself this past month at our Waycross office. She has come so far in such a short period of time. She has a heart of gold and our patients see it! Megan takes pride in her work and we are so blessed to have her!
WCAS: Jackie GravesJackie is always willing to go above and beyond to help the physicians. It doesn’t matter what goes on, she will always do what you ask. Our patients truly love her!
Marketing: Niki PowellNiki most definitely deserves this award! Insurance : Brandy McDonaldBrandy is a hard worker who comes to work ready to get the day started. Brandy is always willing to help wherever she is needed and is a great asset to this company!
Nurse / Howard Diet: Ashton HarperAshton has been so awesome this month! She has stayed past 5 PM several days to make sure that her patients are taken care of and all her questions are answered. She is always so willing to give a helping hand wherever is needed and always has a smile on her face!
TWC: Katelyn SettleShe is always going above and beyond making sure that our patients are getting taken care of! Katelyn is a GREAT team player! We are so lucky to have her!!
Housekeeping: Sofia ArzateSofia helps the Howard family and has been helping them for almost 13 years. She is a very loyal and outstanding worker. We are so lucky to have her!
HC Nurse: Savannah OwensSavannah is an awesome team player. Anytime she gets asked to do something she does it without complaining! She will stay late at times to make sure all of her tasks have been taken care of! She is one of the few that is always helping put up the office supplies without being told to do so. She always does her best to ensure she builds a connection with her patients!
Manager: Alex Rhodes Alex is a relatively new employee and manager to our company, yet you would NEVER know it. She has taken ownership of the marketing team and is learning every aspect of it so she can be an effective manager. This month she took on the challenge of doing HFs by herself (very successfully) and has driven all over the state of Georgia so our company could thrive. You can see that Alex truly cares about women and their healthcare needs. ALEX is an outstanding employee and manager EVERY SINGLE month so she most definitely deserves the Shining Star Award!!
