July Excellence Awards

Ashlyn Taylor: WCASAshlyn Taylor is the employee of the month for WCAS. She has been a team player and never complains about anything. She had stepped up in her department and always solving problems in ASU. She is always going far and beyond for our patients. She is always going above and beyond to assist her coworkers and the surgery center to make things run smoothly. We are blessed to have her as a part of our team!!
Jakeria Taylor: NurseJakeria has stepped up this month, she is very dedicated to care of her patients. She is always volunteering to travel to the outline offices. She has stepped up to be the Doctor Nurse here at the Tifton location. She’s eager to learn and does it with a smile on her face. We are definitely blessed to have her on our team!!!
Sara Hall: Tifton Woman’s CenterSara always puts her patients first. She never takes a break and barely has a chance to eat during the day. All the while never complaining. This past week I don’t think she even ate lunch. She never hesitates to help out when she can and shows up every day. Thank you Sara for all that you do! We appreciate your hard work!
Shaterica Brown: UltrasoundThis month, Shaterica traveled to Tifton from our Covington office to further educate herself as they transition from OB to gyn. She brightened our day with her big smile, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. I’ve received several raves from patients this month on Shaterica. A patient commented that they had not been to a doctor in a while because of their anxiety and fears but Shaterica changed their mindset by calming their nerves and being so gentle and understanding. Shaterica has taken on the role of filling in for the MA and also works the front desk when needed. She gives the same energy and professionalism in every single area that she is helping with. She goes above and beyond every day and in every way.
Tarah Wilson: ProviderCongratulations to Tarah Wilson for winning the Provider Excellence Award!! Tarah is an exceptional Nurse Practitioner at our Valdosta office. She always puts her patients first and her reviews proves this. She takes her time explaining to the patients their diagnosis and treatment. We are blessed to have her as part our UOG family. Thank you Tarah
Samantha Douglas: InsuranceSam is a brand new employee but you wouldn’t know it! She has been extremely helpful this past month in getting our insurance department sorted out and restructured. She has taken the initiative to jump in wherever needed without being asked and assisted in the management duties of the Insurance Department. We are looking forward to a bright future with Sam on our team.
Chasity Butts: ManagerOur OB Department has been short handed this past month, however Chasity has kept everything running smoothly. She is always looking for ways to make the OB practice run more efficiently and handles the many problems that come with it. This past month she has proven herself as an outstanding manager and we are blessed to have her as part of our team.
Jessica Cowart: MarketingThank you for your tremendous help in our Leesburg office. Without your diligence, hard work, and early mornings our Leesburg office is thriving because of you. Thanks for uplifting everyone’s morale, for pushing the boundaries and lifting everyone on the team. You’re an asset to our team. Excellent work!
Gracie Brumfield: Front DeskGracie Brumfield is technically a Howard Diet employee, but she has taken it upon herself to learn multiple different positions. This month we have been short staffed at the front desk and Gracie has stepped in on many occasions and been happy to help no matter the circumstances. She has gone above and beyond to make sure our patients have been taken care of!

Even helping out in the back whether it is helping keep rooms clean, getting on the floor when needed, or even just helping us keep the room flowing. Through some of our most hecked days you still manage to be the sweetest and keep a smile on your face. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. You rock, Kayla!
