May the beauty of the season bring you joy!

The Howard Center’s love and passion for women’s health has just expanded a little more. We are so excited to introduce our brand new office in Covington! While our Covington location focuses on Obstetrics, starting Mid- January we will start seeing gyn patients as well. Our sole focus is providing the utmost care to our mothers and their babies!

Our facility is newly remodeled and absolutely beautiful! The Howard Center Covington provides an at-home feel for our mothers as they are greeted by friendly bright faces of our amazing staff as well as providers that have been delivering babies for over 20 years.  We are excited to begin our journey in Covington by caring for our patients and their babies every step of the way. There’s nothing like opening up a new location where we can help change the lives of even more women.

      Excellence Awards

      Ultrasound: BrittanyBrittany is an amazing ultrasound tech – she is very efficient with her ultrasounds and keeps our Moultrie office stocked with supplies! She goes above and beyond everyday and helps cover the front desk and work up patients. Brittany never hesitates to help her coworkers!
      Front Desk: Callie TuckerCallie has made sure during our busiest week that the office, patients, and employees were all taken care of. She always looks out for everyone before herself… but this month she WENT ABOVE and BEYOND! Bathroom out of service? ON IT. Calls being transferred to the wrong line? ON IT!
      WCAS: Selena WrightSelena has definitely gone the extra mile during this month by being an amazing patient advocate. She is one of our most dedicated employees helping in any way that she can. She comes in and works on her days off to ensure that all patients are able to have surgery.We truly believe that Selena deserves an award for the month of November.
      Insurance: Tiffany JacksonTiffany has gone above and beyond this past month by taking on Medicare payments/denials and stepping in and helping with insurance checks. Tiffany always has a positive attitude and is willing to accept any new task assigned to her with a smile.
      Marketing: Jasper PlessJasper is definitely a shining star and is very deserving of this award! His work ethic and passion for the Howard Center shines every single day. Jasper is always coming up with new ideas on how we can improve and always lends a helping hand wherever he can!
      Nurse / Howard Diet: Quanisha ToblerQ has had so many compliments from her patients and was complimented on by a Nurse Practitioner of how she keeps the office running smoothly! She knows how to cover every position in the office and steps up every time to help out!
      TWC: Bobbie WilliamsMs.Bobbie helps out everywhere! She might be checking on the patients,working them up or even covering for triage if needed. She doesn’t mind helping with any task that is needed. We are truly blessed to have her with us for almost 13 years now!!!
      Housekeeping: Elizabeth ZamoraElizabeth has become an important asset to the company. We are so grateful for her dedication and passion for what she does. She is always willing to help and is such a hard working woman!
      HC Nurse: Sophia FletcherSophia has been a great team player. She is very dependable and has come in several times on her days off to help cover where we are short handed. She does not complain and adapts to where I move her to. She engages with our patients and will go out of her way to make sure patients are taken care of!

      The Shining Star Award

      Bonnie Simpson, WHNP
      Nurse Practitioner
      $250 & Trophy

      The Manager and the Nurse Practitioner of the month is Bonnie Simpson! Bonnie is our faithful leader of the NPs and goes above and beyond for each one of her staff members as well as all employees. Not only does she have the distinct honor of being the first Nurse Practitioner ever hired by the Howards, she has personally trained every NP that works here today. The reason we are successful is because Bonnie took Dr Drew’s vision and instilled it into every NP. Whenever an NP has a problem she listens and helps them. Even when she is off work she makes herself available to answer questions. As far as patients go, Bonnie becomes friends with her patients allowing them to call her at home, and is one of the few providers left in this world that gives her cell phone number out to patients!
      She builds a relationship with her patients, we are beyond blessed to have her taking care of them.

      There is not a more deserving person to win BOTH the Manager and NP for the month of November.
