      • The annual Howard Center Carnival of Knowledge is on Tuesday, November 30th.

      Excellence Awards

      Insurance : Kelsi Black Kelsi comes in each day ready to meet the challenges of the day head on. She has put a great deal of effort into her job this past month trying to meet and obtain all goals set for her. Kelsi goes the extra mile when helping patients and is always open to helping her team members when needed. We appreciate her dedication and she makes a huge difference on our team.
      Marketing : Abby SmithPersistence, commitment, and an immense amount of talent. You help bring it all together so wonderfully. Thank you for all your hard work with Breast Cancer Warrior baskets and stepping up with ideas for marketing along with always willing to help train the new marketers with HIS and Prime Suite. You are such an asset to UOG!
      WCAS: Blonese JonesBlon is an exceptional employee that never complains. She will always show up to work even when she isn’t feeling like it. She is compassionate and cares about her patients and coworkers. Blon’s name comes up on every survey report mentioning how wonderful she is.
      TWC: Kyra DixonKyra is always a team player. She is the first person to say yes if you ask her to do something. She has never said “That isn’t my job” nor does she say she is too busy to help out. Kyra goes out of her way to make everyone’s job around her easier!
      OB Nursing: Aveyora FowlerAveyora Fowler is a hard working member of our OB team. She has stepped up and is now one of our scribers to help things in our office run a little smoother. Thank you Aveyora. We are very appreciative of everything you do!!
      Ultrasound: Stephanie ArringtonStephanie is a great ultrasound tech and team player. She always makes her patients feel comfortable with their exam and makes sure they are well taken care of. She always travels and helps other offices when needed with no hesitation. Thank you for everything you do!
      Front Desk: Sabrina HowardSabrina has been with us for a few months now. She has learned so much and come so far. Her patient surveys are amazing and get better each time. This month she has blown me away. Our patients love her as well as her coworkers. She has asked appropriate questions to ensure she is doing her job well and correctly. We are blessed to have Sabrina at our front office in Warner Robins!
      Diet: Maci PottsMaci is fairly new but has jumped into her role at the Howard Center and is such a team player. She has had several shout outs this month. Whenever she is asked to do something, she always replies with yes ma’am and never hesitates to help wherever she can. Maci has gone out of the way this month to ensure her diet patients have been taken care of and have access to our inventory. We are so lucky that Maci has joined our Waycross team!
      Nursing : Kasie HarrellKasie is amazing, she is our super nurse! She goes above and beyond for her patients and co-workers! Kasie will always call and ask if we need any help! She is the nurse that stays until all tasks and patients are done! We are so lucky to have her!
      Provider: Mandy TomberlinMandy goes above and beyond to take care of her patients. Mandy is very knowledgeable in hormone therapy, OB and gynecological care of all ages. Her reviews prove she’s very efficient and how much she’s appreciated. We are so blessed to have her at our Tifton office!!

      Cindy stepped into the role as the Surgery Center Manager with a bunch of issues already on her plate. While most people would have run away as fast as possible, she took on the issues and quickly resolved them. This past month she has dealt with being short staffed while trying to manage her way through our extremely busy season. This is always a difficult time of year, however she is handling it like a champ! I am so proud of her for jumping in wherever she is needed and encouraging her team during the long days of the holiday season.
      On top of all of that, she helped implement a new charting system that tremendously helps the flow of our ASC.
      Cindy never gets mad or emotional, she is the backbone of our surgery center! She is a great problem solver and has the utmost respect from her staff.
      We are blessed to have her and she more than deserves the Shining Star Award!
