      Excellence Awards

      Manager: Melisa NewellFor over a month, Melisa has been working extra hours at night by auditing our insurance claims. We put a new coding system in place and even though this is not her department she has helped make sure the claims are going out correctly so we can receive the correct reimbursement rates. Melisa always puts the Howard Center first and foremost when it comes to our finances! She ensures that we get bottom dollar pricing and keeps us all on our toes about how much we spend, a task that is extremely difficult with 250 employees spending money! As our Business Administrator she has a million tasks yet she is always willing and ready to jump in wherever needed. We are blessed to have her head up some of our largest charitable events. She volunteers to do it because of the giving and loving spirit she has.
      Our company could not function at all without Melisa , she truly deserves this award!
      Marketing: Jessica CowartHer positivity and willingness to step out of her comfort zone and take on wherever needed helps us believe that goals can be achieved and success can be attained if we truly believe in them and work diligently to fulfil them. Thank you for being so dedicated and innovative to our company. Marketing is blessed to have you on the team.
      Insurance: Destiny HesterDestiny has only been with us for a short period of time but she has really shined this past month. Destiny always has a smile, a positive attitude and has shown commendable skills when helping our patients! Her dedication to the insurance team is valuable and we are grateful to have her!
      WCAS: Elizabeth ZamoraElizabeth is always on time for work and never complains about anything she is asked to do. She is always willing to fill in wherever she is needed. She is a very hard worker! She comes into work and does not leave without everything being taken care of.
      TWC: Keshauna BakerShe shows up and shows out! She is always willing to help out anything I ever ask her to do even if she is busy. I really appreciate her stepping up to learn new skills that will make a better work environment for the other nurses and herself. She is such a hard worker and a pleasure to have around the office.
      OB Nursing: Cassandra WindomAlways a team player. She is absolutely amazing at her Job. She shows so much love and care towards her patients. Cassandra goes above and beyond to make sure that they can leave OB with a smile on their face. Thank you for making this place feel like their home. YOU ROCK!
      Ultrasound: Angela McDanielAngela is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond everyday and helps out around the office in any way she can! Since Valdosta doesn’t have a full time nurse, she has been helping out with surgery packet stuff to make sure everything is lined up before a patient’s surgery day and has done amazing! Thank you for everything you do Angela!
      Front Desk: Calista HernandezCalista has been covering one of our Front offices for MONTHS. She has helped out when I needed her, kept up with her tasks as a manager, and covered one of her empty positions as well. She has stayed late almost everyday to ensure that everything she has to have done was indeed done. This past month Calista has not only “wowed” myself, but our patients as well. Her surveys as a receptionist have been phenomenal. She makes everything she does look effortless. One thing is for sure about Calista… that she is an absolute ROCKSTAR!
      Diet: Kasie HuttoKasie is our fabulous nurse in Albany. Kasie helps anywhere and everywhere that is needed. She gives a helping hand in every department and makes sure everything goes smoothly for her Nurse Practitioner. Her patients love her and she has had nothing but great reviews all month. We are lucky to have Kasie as part of our team!
      Nursing: Jennifer GarnerJennifer is an amazing nurse and goes above and beyond to help her patients and her nurse practitioner. Jennifer is currently helping schedule surgeries and does it with a smile on her face. We are so grateful to have her on our team. She is one of our super nurses!!
